"You don't have anything if you don't have hope"

ENCOURAGEMENT UNLIMITED, INC. is a 501C3 charitable organization founded in 2002 by John Leonard Harris as a public service to help people from all walks of life.  The organization provides programs and services for individuals and organizations in order to move past barriers and toward success.

Our pillars are:

PROGRAMS  - We look to "fill in the gaps" and provide programming that truly meets the needs of individuals, families and the community.

PARTNERSHIPS - We realize that we do not have to "reinvent the wheel."  We look for organizations that need the help that we can provide and believe what we believe.  We look forward to working with organizations that want to make a difference!

POSTCARDS - We believe in the "power of encouragement" and offer encouragement through our postcards to people all across the country.  We always offer postcards to those who want to "join the army of encouragers" and will send encouragement to those in their sphere of influence.

Suit Drive Report on Channel 8

Encouragement Unlimited, Inc. is once again partnering with the Men’s Wearhouse for the 10th year on this national effort to help men seeking employment get a boost of self-confidence. Encouragement Unlimited, unlike many of the organizations that participate in this event, offers a 90 minute job workshop prior to the suit distribution.

Throughout the month of July, the local Men’s Wearhouse store will accept donations of men’s suits, shirts, jackets, ties, belts, and shoes. Clothing donations should be taken to the Men’s Wearhouse location at: 5141 “O” Street (on the south side of “O” street across from Barnes and Noble).  Encouragement Unlimited will not accept clothing, but will distribute the items collected to men in Lincoln and surrounding communities who are seeking employment and who desire a professional appearance.

Each man will be able to get one suit and any additional accessory that complement the suit. In advance of the event, men can provide their measurements using the Encouragement Unlimited website so that the organization can attempt to provide the sizes requested. The online suit size form is available at: http://www.encouragementunlimited.org/menssuitdrivesizeinfo.htm

We will be looking to raise funds to offer a $500 scholarship in the name of Twyla Hill to a nursing school in the area.
